Common questions
A few things worth knowing.
How do I know which material I need?
Pick a project and we list what it takes, or pick a category and we list the materials in it with a short description of what each one is for. Every material also has its own page. If you’re still unsure, get in touch and we’ll tell you what we’d use.
How much do I need?
Enter the size of the area and we work out the cubic yards, including a settling allowance where the material needs one. If you already know the amount, type it in instead.
Can you load my truck or trailer?
Yes. Our one-yard bottom-opening bucket loads an open pickup or trailer from above. Your vehicle has to be open from the top, so we can’t load an enclosed vehicle or a pickup with a canopy in place.
Where can the delivery be placed?
You choose the drop point and add delivery instructions when you order, and they stay attached to the load. Our trucks are small enough to place material close to the project rather than at the end of the driveway.
What happens if the delivery is late?
If we miss your confirmed delivery window, we refund $50. That applies to Get It Delivered orders with a confirmed window.
Can I order less than one yard?
Yes. Quarter, half and three-quarter yard loads are priced for loading at the yard. You’ll see what’s available for the material you pick.
What if I’m outside the regular delivery area?
Enter your address and we price the drive to it. We deliver well outside town; past the core area the delivery portion goes up with the distance, and you see it before you order.
